Description
Are you looking for engaging, differentiated adapted books to use throughout the year with your students? Do your students need to work on a variety of skills in a hands-on way? Instructions for Adapted Books
- Print out all of the pages.
- Cut out and laminate each of the pages and bind into a book.
- Cut out and laminate each of the individual symbols and place velcro onto the back of them.
- Laminate the final base - the base board - and add velcro onto these.
- Place the individual symbols onto the base board. Students choose the symbols from the base board to place onto the adapted book as they complete it.
Adapted books are a great way for your students to work on their symbol recognition skills.
The vocabulary is suitable for American or British classrooms. (Color, Colour etc.)
