Activity Guess the Character Traits Bingo with IB Attitudes

Bingo! Three fun, engaging activities that incorporates the language of the IB Attitudes with learning of literacy comprehension strategies and skills. This is an ideal literacy centers activity or for small guided groups in 3rd -6th grades.
You will find the bingo boards can be used as a traditional game of bingo, where the children take turns reading the text cards and they have to infer the IB Attitude being used by the character. It involves a lot of group discussion, where the academic language just cant help but be used over and over. The winner can have a completed row, column or full house.
The second game is similar to the card game Snap!, where the children have to match attitudes and characters’ traits from the text.
The third game is similar to the game of Memory. The attitude cards and the text cards shall be shuffled together and placed face down in a matrix. Each player will take turns turning over two cards. The object is to match a text card with an Attitude card. The winner will have the most matching pairs at the end.
