My students LOVED this! I posted the cards as stations around the room, and they had to rotate around the room and fill in their chart. We had so much fun with this- I will for sure be using this every year as a review activity for active and passive voice.
These task cards were great. I used them as a review before our Active vs. Passive test, and it was just what they needed to boost their confidence. I used the cards for quiz, quiz, trade and scoot.
Description
Do your students need practice with verb voice? Are they writing passive sentences instead of active sentences? These 32 task cards have students read a sentence and determine if it is written in the active or passive voice. Task card set includes 32 cards, answer key, and choice of two student answer sheets. One answer sheet increases rigor by asking students to rewrite incorrect sentences. Task Cards are great for centers/stations, small group instruction, partner work, Scoot, game/competition, and more! This set is appropriate for grades 5-8, and is Common Core aligned to L8.1b.
