Description
In this project students work individually or with a partner to conduct research on the Internet about an accounting fraud case including: an overview of the company, the crime scene, the suspects, evidence about the case, and suggest how this event could be prevented in the future. They will develop a crime report and present their findings to the class. As the other students watch they will record the company name and a brief description of the fraud on the provided worksheet. At the end of the presentations students will reflect on these ethical mistakes.
The crime report is an interactive way to discuss accounting fraud, practice creating a professional document, and present information to others in a clear and concise format. This project is fully EDITABLE for easy customization in your classroom.
Please note that no physical case study is included, instead students will use the Internet to research the accounting fraud for a company of their selection.
This file includes:
- Project Instructions (Microsoft PowerPoint Presentation and Word)
- Simple Grading Rubric (based on 50 points, Microsoft PowerPoint Presentation and Word)
