Abstract Picasso Self Portrait (need Smart Notebook software)

Students will learn how Abstract art was created out of a sense to create something new. Examples and videos connect the history of the creation of the Air Jordan shoes and how they impacted shoe design much like Abstract art created a new style of art.

This same lesson could be adapted within the classroom with Markers, crayons, or oil pastels.
