Description
Check out this resource about Abraham Lincoln and the turbulent times of the Civil War. Four informational text passages are included along with challenging questions to make your students think about history while they sharpen their reading skills. The high interest passages are: Abraham Lincoln on the Road to the White House, Antietam, Harper’s Ferry, and Mathew Brady. These topics are also covered in Patricia Polacco’s book, “Just in Time, Abraham Lincoln”. Using picture books is an excellent way to engage any age of student. My students love it when I incorporate a picture book into a unit! All answer keys are included.
