Your students will have so much fun with this activity. Famous Deaf Speed Dating is a great way to introduce students to famous Deaf people. Students will take on the persona of their "person" and mingle with each other to get to know the person better. This is great for interpersonal communication skills and quick presentations.
This activity focuses on personality traits, descriptions, and interpersonal communication. Students will need to use research skills to learn about their person.
Included in this packet are directions for the student and the teacher. The packet explains 2 versions of how you can speed date using the materials This can be used with a Famous Deaf Person unit or in a Description/Traits Unit.
