Description
Piedra, papel, y tijeras. Students will love these rock, paper, scissors games that utilize -ar, er, and ir verb conjugations and translations. Place students in groups of two. Students will play "piedra, papel, o tijeras" to see who can advance their game piece. If a student wins with "rock" they move forward one space, a win with scissors would be a 2 space move, and a win with paper would mean going forward 3 spaces. The next step is conjugating and translating. If a student is unable to conjugate and translate the pronoun and verb correctly he or she would lose one turn. The first student that makes it to the "el fin" box wins.
Different colored paper clips work great for game pieces.
