APES UNIT 3 Human Population Demographics Virtual Activity

This activity uses the 2022 World Population Data Sheet to analyze demographic data for six countries (USA, France, China, Mexico, India, and Nigeria). Students construct age-structure diagrams using Google Sheets and further analyze the data by calculating growth rates and doubling times.

The PDF contains activities from topics 3.6 and 3.8 from the APES CED. This activity will take between 3 and 5 class periods to complete (but can also be assigned as homework or as a virtual activity).
