AP Spanish Language and Culture -Cultural Comparison Rubric with student Handout

Use this authentic AP Spanish Cultural Comparison Rubric with your AP students to evaluate their work and have them familiarized with how they will be evaluated in the actual test. In addition, the handout that accompanies the rubric can be used for peer evaluations. I usually have students record their cultural comparison on their phones, they send me the audio clips and I play them in class. I play a student sample and as a a class we evaluate the audio using the rubric and fill out the handout. I play two more student samples and students evaluate the clips on their own.

I found that it was extremely helpful for them to hear each other's responses and actually look at the rubric and evaluate each section bit by bit, the grammar, the pronunciation, are they comparing or just listing?
