Description

This unit covers neural communication, the nervous system, the endocrine system, and the brain. The content structure is based on David Myers’ Psychology textbook, 10th Edition but is applicable to many other texts.

The activities for this unit are mostly discussion and simulation based. There is very little content lecturing by the teacher. I have a Power Point in this bundle to fill in content if you need it but the textbook reading should suffice for most students and classes.

All items are in Microsoft Word and Power Point so they can be easily modified to your needs

File Includes:
A two week calendar of daily activities and content areas to cover.
Video Links
Homework Expectations
Homework Review Questions
2 week Power Point with information and discussion questions

A list of helpful study links that have been accumulated from my AP Biology students over the years.

An additional activity “Build a Brain” that can be introduced in week one and then turned in before the test at the end of week two. This activity includes images of past projects, a project assignment sheet, and grading rubric.

I have also added a PowerPoint presentation that can be used as supplemental lecture notes.
