Description

Save some time with this College Board approved syllabus for AP English Language and Composition. Unlike the standard AP Language course, this course also infuses the chronological American literature course often taught at the same grade level. Each unit explores literature from the various American literary periods as well as the contemporary pieces necessary for the AP Language course.

The course is outlined by month and includes the following units:

Argumentation/Research
Narration
Exemplification
Cause/Effect
Definition
Comparison/Contrast
Classification/Division
Argumentation/Debate

This course uses Patterns for College Writing (2007); however, nearly any text used for AP Language can be accommodated with this syllabus. Revise to make it your own!
