AP Chemistry Syllabus & Pacing Guide

Do you need a sequence for teaching AP Chemistry? Would you like a rough estimate on how much instructional time is necessary for each chapter? This pacing guide provides those details as well as how many "days" that I spend on each lesson. (This guide is specifically geared toward the "lessons" that I delineate in my PowerPoints and Homework). I hope this pacing guide will help you plan every chapter, help you plan your entire year, and help keep everyone learning and moving forward to finish the AP Chemistry curriculum with time left for review.

This guide includes time to review basic concepts of General Chemistry, direct instruction of the AP curriculum, lab work, review days for tests, doing practice AP questions, taking a midterm and final exam, and reviewing for the AP Exam.
