THIS RESOURCE IS A MUST-HAVE FOR ANY TEACHER WORKING THROUGH THE CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENTS WITH THEIR STUDENTS. YOU WILL READ THE TEXT FROM EACH AMENDMENT AND CONSIDER VISUALS AND EXAMPLES WHILE TRACKING EACH ONE ON A GRAPHIC ORGANIZER.

***GOOGLE COMPATIBLE***

1) Drag and Drop the Word Doc or PowerPoint into Google Drive

2) Then Go to "FILE", and SAVE AS "GOOGLE SLIDES" or "GOOGLE DOCS"

This series of PowerPoint slides offers a graphic organizer for students to follow along and create a drawing to represent each amendment AND put each amendment into their own words.

Each amendment slide includes:

* a one phrase summary of the amendment

* the original text of the amendments (some are abbreviated)

* relevant visuals for each amendment

*** also includes background linking the Magna Carta and other documents, introductory information about the U.S. Constitution, Bill of Rights and the purpose of amendments.
