This breathtakingly beautiful version of the Agnus Dei from the Roman Missal is based on John the Baptist's reference to Jesus in the scripture from John 1:29: "Behold the Lamb of God that taketh away the sins of the world."

The Latin text,

Agnus Dei, qui tollis peccata mundi, miserere nobis.

Agnus Dei, qui tollis peccata mundi, miserere nobis.

Agnus Dei, qui tollis peccata mundi, dona nobis pacem.

translates as:

O, Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the world, have mercy upon us.

O. Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the world, have mercy upon us.

O, Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the world, grant us peace.

Excellent for advanced middle school, high school & up, and any mixed voices church choir.
