ADVERBS IN ACTION! - grammar game [English & Spanish]

This game will help your students understand that adverbs modify an action.
Prepare the cards in two separate sets before starting the game. Students combine an adverb card with an action, for example: “have a shower slowly". Students work in pairs to act out and guess the action or adverb (making sounds is also allowed).
Additionally, there is a printable clapper board that can be used to practice writing. In teams, have your students write sentences and act them out later. You may use the grammar reference included in this document to help your students understand the rules to form adverbs of manner.
