ABRAHAM LINCOLN: FACT OR FIB

"Fact or Fib" can be used to launch a lesson or to help your students review what they know about Abraham Lincoln. It's fun, interesting and all students can be involved at once as a whole group. OR Students can work independently or in small groups to sort the facts from the fibs.

Students will create fact and fib stars to show their responses to the fact or fib. Just simply copy the stars and students can cut and glue the stars back to back to a popsicle stick. Students can give you an answer by showing their responses!

Students can also sort facts and fibs into groups in individual centers or in a pocket chart with partners.

There is a master list of facts about Abraham Lincoln so you can respond in detail if your students ask questions. I know my students do!

Graphic organizers are included to assess prior-knowledge, launch your lesson, or review organizers are included, too. Write a final piece to see what you students know!
