ABC's of Second Grade [EDITABLE]

I created a unique syllabus for my classroom that details the core components of my classroom through the use of ABC's. Each letter stands for a word or phrase that I will use in my classroom on a consistent basis. This document will serve as my communication plan to both my students and their parents. I will have a "back to school" night prior to the first day of school where I will discuss each letter of the alphabet and my expectations. I want to be clear and consistent with my families and have them understand everything upfront so that I can refer to my plan at any time throughout the year. I will also have my students read through the syllabus and document their reading each night for the first two weeks of school. This syllabus will serve as a rigorous starting point in creating a cohesive and exceptional classroom.
