Description

This is one of my favorite all time projects I have assigned to my Gifted and Talented students. Not only does it cover many of the research expectations of common core, but it also teaches them about architecture and cultures around the world. I use this project during my Green Architecture unit as an at home project. I give students 1 1/2 - 2 months to complete this project at home. Students research a monument of choice and design a presentation and a creative element to teach present in front of the class. This project allows students to work on their researching skills and becoming more comfortable with public speaking. There are three main components of this project: research, creative element, and presentation. I have included the project description, rubric, and many student examples. This project will make you are your students want to travel the world!
