A Lesson for Students Who Possess or Use Vape Products: THINK ABOUT IT!!
- PDF
- Easel Activity
Description
This lesson is completed by a student who has been accused of possessing, distributing, and/or using a vape product in school, on school property, or during a school-sponsored event. Through the process of doing the various worksheets, the student examines the negative effects of vaping, learns about signs of addiction, reflects on why they possessed/distributed/used a vape product, identifies refusal skills, and designs a plan to make better choices in the future.
A quote from the lesson: "This lesson is not intended to be a punishment. Instead, it is considered to be an intervention that allows you to reconsider possessing, distributing, and/or using vape products from this point forward. Ultimately, the choice is yours. No one but you can decide what you will do in the future."
