A Day in the Life.... Cultures Reading & Research Pack

Do you want to increase your students' global awareness? Are your kiddos interested in learning about what life is like in other cultures? This pack integrates reading, writing and social studies into one global learning pack! You are sure to peak the interest of your students and shape them into little anthropologist with this activity pack.

This pack includes "mini-packs" for 11 countries around the world. There is a colorful cover page (I use this to create country folders/envelopes for the project), a letter written from the perspective of a child from the country, a written response question sheet, and a Venn diagram comparing the country to life in the United States.

A cultures/country research graphic organizer is also included. To extend this project further, I have also included extension writing activities where students can write about the life of a child in the United States. I have included a letter writing paper, story paper and a 10 page book that can be written and illustrated to tell about the life of a child in the United States!
