Description

This is a fully-editable 8th grade math student vocabulary list for notebooks. This is created at full size for 3-ring binders or folders, but you can print this product at 85% scale to fit composition books or interactive notebooks.

This list contains 182 commonly used vocabulary words or phrases in 8th grade math. The different versions of this product allows for write-in definitions and examples as well as a pre-defined list with example space.

How I Use This in the Classroom

· At the beginning of the year, students put this into their class notebooks and we reference the definitions and add examples as we are learning.

· For my advanced classes we use the blank definitions and students are responsible for filling in the definitions as we learn them.

· For my lower classes or for intervention, students are given the definitions and we use the example space to draw what we have learned.

Notes About this Product

· This is left fully editable for your convenience. Please feel free to add or remove vocabulary words, change definitions to fit your classroom, or change the font style.

· I teach 8th grade math in Texas, so these are words and phrases we see most often here. If you live in other states, you may not need all of these words or you may need to add a couple that are missing from this list.
