    Find Answers to Your Questions:

βœ‹ Can I use this resource with any 7th-grade math curriculum?

    • Yes! This resource includes two designs. The banners align with the iReady Classroom Math manual published in 2020, and the posters can accompany any 7th-grade math curriculum. The math vocabulary terms align with Common Core State Standards and provide valuable examples for 7th-grade students in every class.

βœ‹ How did you translate these math words into Spanish?

    • I am not a native Spanish speaker. My intent with this set is to assist Spanish-speaking students who attend English-speaking classrooms. All terms and definitions have been translated to Spanish, along with many examples. However, some clipart examples show English words.

βœ‹ Which math vocabulary terms are included?

    • Check out the word list in the preview!

βœ‹ How can I use the digital version?

    • If you don’t want to hang a math word wall, save on printing and present every term in the slideshow instead! Flip through the colorful pages and discuss the definitions and examples with your students. Additionally, you can customize this word list by adding your own terms in the editable template!

βœ‹ How can I prepare the banner?

    • Print and cut apart the pennants using a paper cutter. Hang on a ribbon with clothespins so you can change the words. I printed my terms on cardstock and chose not to laminate. They have held up well all year!

*Note - The ability to add your own terms on PowerPoint is for personal use only.
