What educators are saying

There is a good variety of questions to spiral through the year. I like that the files are editable - especially as a Canadian - so I could change some questions to metric. Also, I have a split grade this year so I can add in a little extra for the grade 8s if needed.
This bundle is perfect for bell work with my students. I have it on the board ready to go when they arrive, and they get to it right away. Highly recommend!

Description

EDITABLE, PRINTABLE and can be used as DIGITAL assignments!

This is an entire year of Bell Work for your 7th grade mathematics class.Β Β It includes 36 weeks and covers each topic in the 7th grade Mathematics Common Core. They are ready to print, or assign to students in a Learning Management System. Each file is also editable so you can edit as needed.

Also included is a Bell Work Question Bank sorted by topic. If you teach the topics in a different order than I have, or would like to customize the question each day to match your daily content, or review from yesterday, you can just drag and drop the questions into the blank weekly template provided.

I love to use these for the first 2-3 minutes of class so I can take attendance and get students in "math thinking mode". My students love the routine and variety of questions and the discussions we have about them as we go over them. The consistency in routine of bell work, also helps immensely with classroom management and helps you have a deep-learning classroom as you allow students to share different strategies they used to solve each problem.

Thank you so much for purchasing my product! I hope you love using this bell work as much and my students and I do.

Sincerely,

Cristy

Solve problems involving scale drawings of geometric figures, including computing actual lengths and areas from a scale drawing and reproducing a scale drawing at a different scale.
Draw (freehand, with ruler and protractor, and with technology) geometric shapes with given conditions. Focus on constructing triangles from three measures of angles or sides, noticing when the conditions determine a unique triangle, more than one triangle, or no triangle.
Describe the two-dimensional figures that result from slicing three-dimensional figures, as in plane sections of right rectangular prisms and right rectangular pyramids.
Know the formulas for the area and circumference of a circle and use them to solve problems; give an informal derivation of the relationship between the circumference and area of a circle.
Use facts about supplementary, complementary, vertical, and adjacent angles in a multi-step problem to write and solve simple equations for an unknown angle in a figure.
