Both Scavenger Hunt Directions:
Have your students search around the school/classroom for the items/rooms included on the scavenger hunts. Super simple! Your students will love these and you will never have to hear "where is the gym?" or "where do you keep the pencils?" ever again!!
This or That Directions:
Hold up 1 finger to vote for the first option and 2 fingers to vote for the second option. If you would like to get your students moving, have them stand up and go to the side of the room of the option they prefer! Have Fun!
Classroom Rules and Expectations Presentation Directions:
Use the Google Slides presentation to create classroom rules with your students. I find this to be so meaningful because your students will have a say in what is expected of them.
Calendar Time Directions:
1. Download the Google slides app OR go to slides.google.com
2. Click the images first and then drag and drop the images into the blue rectangle.
3. When you are all done, move all of the objects back by simply going to file -> version history -> click the original version. Then you are all ready for tomorrow! Easy Peasy!
All About Me Ipad Apps Worksheet Directions:
Students can get creative by creating their own "all about me" apps with crayons or colored pencils. When my students are finished I have them share their Ipad apps and then I decorate my classroom with their work.
Kaboom Directions:
Make 2-4 teams of students. Taking turns, each team will choose a number. Students will click the number and the slide will either have a “get to know you” question or a KABOOM! If the team gets a KABOOM they lose their turn and all of their points. If the teacher guesses correctly, the teacher gets a point. If the teacher guesses wrong, the team of students that chose the question get a point.
For example, “Team One” picks a number. The question is “Which student on this team is the oldest?” The students quietly figure out which student is the oldest. The teacher then guesses which student is the oldest. If the teacher got it correct, he/she gets a point. If the teacher guesses wrong, the team gets a point.
14 questions and 4 KABOOM's are included. All questions are editable.
Provided Questions:
- Which student on this team is the oldest?
- Which student on this team is the youngest?
- Which student(s) on this team has the most pets at home?
- Which student(s) on this team has the most siblings?
