Take the fear out of testing. This file is packed with 40 problems that review all kinds of common core standards based skills. I designed this packet myself to use with my 6th grader. It is loaded with charts, graphs and word problems to give them practice. The more they see word problems and practice them, the stronger their problem solving skills become.
Concepts covered include vocabulary building, finding mean, median, range reading charts, reading a time line, interpreting the remainder in a division problem, finding area of a rectangle and a trapezoid, multiplying and dividing decimals and fractions and lots more.
An answer sheet is included with each one showing the steps needed to solve the problem, and a student version of the 40 problems is on google forms to download for students.
