Description

If you're organizing a spelling bee competition, here's a quick, simple way to get LOTS of grade-appropriate words and sentences.

This collection is perfect for classroom bees or an all-school bee. Sentences are arranged in order of difficulty. An alphabetical list of words and general instructions for conducting a spelling bee are also included.

I've made the word list is easy enough at the beginning to allow most 3rd graders to successfully complete the first round or two of the bee. This keeps students involved and enthusiastic, and it makes for a positive experience. The word list gets increasingly more difficult to challenge even your best 5th grade spellers!

You'll find this list to be slightly easier than Scripps' materials, making it ideal for less competitive situations, and even ESL. Please review the product sample prior to your purchase.
