Description

Learn the six syllable types and their particular vowel sounds using this fun and catchy song. Build students' confidence when reading words with two syllables, as they learn how to identify, read and spell the different syllable types.

The song includes the six main syllable types - closed, open, magic e, r controlled, consonant-le and vowel team - and can grow with your students' needs. If they know closed syllables, then they can learn the first verse. As they learn more syllable types, they can add more verses. And if they already know all the syllable types, this song is a great way to consolidate that knowledge in a fun and engaging way.

This pack is suitable for students in First Grade all the way through to later elementary ages.

The pack includes:

  • Activity Instructions.
  • .m4v file containing the song and visuals.
