    Description

This emergent reader/symmetry activity bundle is about symmetry and drawing many different items. It is a collection of an emergent reader, picture cards, vocabulary picture cards, symmetry activity sheets, and symmetry samples that will assist you in enhancing student drawing skills. These books and cards are very colorful and can be used in various ways. The books and cards are also great for your English Language Learners.

My emergent readers, teacher lap books, vocabulary cards, writing centers, and memory match games are designed with the Pre-K, Transitional Kindergarten, and Kindergarten students in mind. My readers and writing centers (the vocabulary/picture cards are great for writing centers) will assist you as you work with your students to build book handling skills, subject knowledge, and vocabulary. My primary readers will go along with the traditional storybook and seasonal units with very young students. The readers can be used for guided reading, to support ELD, or as an independent center after students have been introduced and are comfortable with the text. The teacher's lap books, picture cards, writing activities, and building character activities are great for whole-class instruction, and ELD. They may be transferred to writing centers or independent pocket chart activities. Vocabulary cards, picture cards, writing activities, etc., can be transferred to centers after your students have taken on the concepts taught. I have used my books for guided reading, familiar reading book boxes, and take-home books.

I recommend running reusable activities on cardstock and laminating for durability.
