5th Grade Science STAAR Review Food Chains & Webs Worksheet Magnet Planets Craft

This back to school science activities bundle includes solar system, food webs, circuits, magnets, & rocks and minerals units for 4th 5th 6th grade! These resources include facts books. One is a complete fact book, and the other has blank spaces for the students to fill in and take home. I also include Know, Want to Know, & Learned (KWL) worksheets, Facts vs. Opinions, answer keys, and more!

Teaching Tips

• We complete the KWL: know and want to know sections before I read them the fact book.

• Then, I like to read the standard version book to the class using our elmo.

• I pass out the books with the blank spaces, and we re-read as a class, and fill in the missing words to help with comprehension.

• Finally, I have them complete the fact vs opinion worksheet and their KWL charts. (The fact vs opinion sheet would also work great as homework, and review if you talk about it as a class the next day.)
