Description
This product is designed to be a quick cheat sheet for students while preparing for end of the year state assessments in 5th grade math. I currently teach in Texas, and this study guide is aligned to the new 2014-2015 Math TEKS. I have also taught in Illinois, and this study guide is also aligned to the 5th Grade Common Core Mathematics Standards.
Four pages are included, with main topics being: Fractions, Decimals, Geometry & Measurement, and Algebra & Data.
Each page includes the following concepts:
Fractions:
*basic fractions review
*simplify/reduce fractions
*add & subtract fractions
*mixed numbers & improper fractions
*multiply fractions and whole numbers
*divide fractions and whole numbers
Decimals:
*basic decimal review
*represent decimals
*compare decimals
*round decimals
*add/subtract decimals
*multiply decimals
*divide decimals
Geometry & Measurement:
*classify two-dimensional shapes
*geometry vocabulary
*calculate area, perimeter, and volume
*three-dimensional figures
*measurement conversions (metric & customary)
Data & Algebra:
*order of operations
*coordinate plane
*types of graphs
*problem solving vocabulary
*number patterns in tables
