    Description

This is a digital course that covers the 5th Grade Math standards in all of the 5th Grade Math Strands. You can use this to focus on all of the skills students need in 5th grade or you can purchase the individual strands to focus on just those desired skills. These videos are intended to aid teachers, parents of 5th graders/gifted 4th graders/6th graders needing a refresher, or the actual students. If these courses were purchased in a venue that sells complete courses, the combined bundle would be in excess of $100. I am offering them at a discounted rate to aid as many students as possible in the wake of COVID-19.

This section of the 5th Grade Math Curriculum course has 42 videos that break down the 26 5th Grade standards. When quizzes are added to the folder, you will have access to those as well.

These videos can be used to show students how to perform the tasks or they can be used to give you a refresher on how to teach it to them. Feel free to place the videos into your LMS for the students to view during a blended learning experience.

Once your payment has cleared, you will be able to download a document. This document has the direct links to the folder with all of the videos. Due to sizes of the video files, I am unable to attach them to this listing. The links will lead you to the Google Drive folder that houses all of the videos. Once quizzes are added into the folder, you will have access to those as well.

Convert among different-sized standard measurement units within a given measurement system (e.g., convert 5 cm to 0.05 m), and use these conversions in solving multi-step, real world problems.
Make a line plot to display a data set of measurements in fractions of a unit (1/2, 1/4, 1/8). Use operations on fractions for this grade to solve problems involving information presented in line plots. For example, given different measurements of liquid in identical beakers, find the amount of liquid each beaker would contain if the total amount in all the beakers were redistributed equally.
Recognize volume as an attribute of solid figures and understand concepts of volume measurement.
A cube with side length 1 unit, called a “unit cube,” is said to have “one cubic unit” of volume, and can be used to measure volume.
A solid figure which can be packed without gaps or overlaps using 𝘯 unit cubes is said to have a volume of 𝘯 cubic units.
