What educators are saying

I used this with a student I tutor in order to get her ready for her end of the year test. Great resource--very organized!

Description

This printable packet can now also be assigned as a digital packet! Simply use the CREATE DIGITAL ACTIVITY link after your purchase, and your students will be able to complete this packet online. Great for distance learning!

This package provides over 180 practice questions organized by Common Core standard. These questions are based on all 5th grade Common Core standards and are great for review prior to standardized testing. The package also includes the answer key. Use these as homework, in-class review, bellwork, assessments, centers, test prep, etc...these questions will help your students to practice the skills they will need to use on their standardized tests. With one page assigned per day, this easily provides nearly 2 and a half months of test preparation, and allows you to identify immediately which students need more support with each standard.

This packet was designed around the Common Core standards, and is therefore an excellent review for the Florida FSA, Georgia Milestones, MCAS, MCA, Colorado CMAS, Arkansas ACT Aspire, TN Ready, SC Ready, PSSA, Texas TEKS, Arizona AZM2, Smarter Balanced Assessments, PARCC, and Indiana ILEARN, as well as any state test that follows Common Core.

Convert among different-sized standard measurement units within a given measurement system (e.g., convert 5 cm to 0.05 m), and use these conversions in solving multi-step, real world problems.
Make a line plot to display a data set of measurements in fractions of a unit (1/2, 1/4, 1/8). Use operations on fractions for this grade to solve problems involving information presented in line plots. For example, given different measurements of liquid in identical beakers, find the amount of liquid each beaker would contain if the total amount in all the beakers were redistributed equally.
Recognize volume as an attribute of solid figures and understand concepts of volume measurement.
A cube with side length 1 unit, called a “unit cube,” is said to have “one cubic unit” of volume, and can be used to measure volume.
A solid figure which can be packed without gaps or overlaps using 𝘯 unit cubes is said to have a volume of 𝘯 cubic units.
