What educators are saying

Wow! This is so good. I love the guided notes to keep the students engaged and the organization of the notebook. This will be so helpful for my end of year spiral review and next years notebook set up.
This has been a great source to help my students create a study guide for weekly assessments as well as the end of the year assessment.

Description

This is what I use in my own classroom. I've never had a textbook until this year, so this is what I created to solve that problem. I also think this resource is a great reference for kids when they can't remember what a topic is, what a word means, or as a guide for writing. I think it is empowering to have them find their own answers using safe resources; I always know they will find the right answer with a correct definition, and they get to practice using reference material features like a table of contents, glossary, and index.

This can be used in all three types of Interactive Notebook (three-ring binder, spiral, composition). It can be printed front/back for the three-ring binder. There are some blank pages at the end of each section so you can add additional materials/student reflections if you desire. All of the foldables are at the end of the document.

There are tons of fill-in-the-blank definitions that my kids love filling out. My kids throw their hands in the air to guess the words.

These pages are a great reference for kids as they work independently. I don't have a textbook, so I have basically replaced my textbook with this. I also included some texts and practice sheets to help you teach various concepts. I also frequently use this resource in my small Tier II and Tier III intervention groups to introduce topics or practice topics.
