This product isn't meant to be a rigourous reading comprehension passage. Rather, they are meant to get your students thinking and talking about important BTS topics.

This is a great way to assess what your students know in a non-threatening way! You will have the first 2 weeks of morning work covered with this pack! I didn't write "morning work" on any of the handouts so you could also use these as homework!

Each day students will complete:

*A short writing activity- Get to know you theme (Help ease your students' nerves by letting them write about themselves before jumping into school work)

* A math task (Review from 4th grade Common Core)

* A sentence correction task (Review from 3rd and 4th grade Common Core)
