Description
Want to integrate culture into your everyday classroom teaching? Students will travel to 15 different countries and learn about different landmarks through interactive math fraction problems. Students will be able to work through common core aligned math centers related to 5.NF.4b standards.
This includes:
mixed numbers x mixed number
mixed number x a whole number (3 problems)
This is a self correcting center, so students will not be able to move on to the next station without the correct answer.

Find the area of a rectangle with fractional side lengths by tiling it with unit squares of the appropriate unit fraction side lengths, and show that the area is the same as would be found by multiplying the side lengths. Multiply fractional side lengths to find areas of rectangles, and represent fraction products as rectangular areas.
