Description
Students will visit different countries as they solve word problems with line plots. Students will have problems that are multi-step where they will have to add and then divide by the number of the "x"s. Some they will just have to add and then others they will just have to read the problem and count the "x"s.
This is a great way to tie in global with the skills. students will travel to each country as they solve these problems. They are self correcting, since if they do not get the correct answer they will not be able to move to the next station.

Use operations on fractions for this grade to solve problems involving information presented in line plots. For example, given different measurements of liquid in identical beakers, find the amount of liquid each beaker would contain if the total amount in all the beakers were redistributed equally.
