5.MD.2 Fraction Line Plots

Line plots are a staple in elementary education - however, 5th grade common core asks for students to use their knowledge of fractions and of line plots to answer questions.

This product includes 16 questions dealing with Fraction Line Plots. There are 4 line plots and 4 questions per line plot. I have included a color version that can be used in centers or placed around the room for a whole group activity, as well as a black and white version that could be used as independent seat work or an assessment. An answer sheet for students to record their answers and an answer key are also included.

These line plots were designed to address the following CCSS:
5.MD.2 Use operations on fractions to solve problems involving information presented in line plots.
