50 Fabulous Early Elementary Art and Craft Lessons

As an Elementary teacher for many years, I've found that you can never have too many art ideas...especially at the K-3rd grade level. This PowerPoint presentation shows 50 different tried and true art lessons that I've used over the years. You'll find everything from drawing and painting, to waeving, paper crafts, working with clay and more. Each page shows one or more examples of a finished product (all photographed examples were done by students, and therefore are exhibit a childlike handling). Each slide in the presentation lists the media, preparation, step required grade appropriateness and finishing touches necessary to complete each project. This collection of 50 lessons is part of a series of elementary ideas, and covers only Kindergarten through 3rd grade. No two lessons in the series are the same. Other presentations include more K-3rd ideas, 4th through 6th grade, 7th-8th and High school artwork. This grouping of ideas is ideal for a new art teacher, a crafty elementary regular classroom teacher, early childhood teacher, girl / boy scout leader, or even a seasoned art teacher looking for variations of well-known themes.
