Further research and suggestions are posted about these anxiety busting tools in a series of blogs at Brain Leaders and Learners.

Bend and fit ideas into your unique setting!

The following 50 tools laid out in this book suggest how our brain comes hardwired to overcome passivity, panic or boredom that easily defaults to anxiety and stress. By transforming growing pressured practices into more and more awe inspiring solutions, we also reduce stress and its toxins.

We overcome anxiety by using mental tools to exchange facts into working solutions. Transfer is not automatic regardless of genius insights. Action creates change. Brains hold new facts for a short time in working memory and actions transform and store this data into usable skills.

Find these 50 critical thinking prompts used in these brain based tools - located in each reflective session, and also printed on easy to use question cards at the end of the book.

To get started you may wish to copy and laminate question cards (P. 218 – 235) as a way to mark daily progress through the brain based approaches suggested. The video included here will act as a guide to help you enjoy the process of reaching past angst to attain far more awe, even in difficult times.

Hopefully these ready-to-roll brain-based materials will benefit your learners and leaders as they do mine at middle, secondary, university levels and beyond.
