Social Stories Really Work!

Problems with young students or diverse learners leaving the room without asking? Trouble in the cafeteria? Need to introduce a student with a communication device to the class? Need help with hugs?

These stories will help.

I've used all 5 of these stories with my young diverse learners, as they take on the complexities of social skills and executive functioning skills at school. These stories are a great way to get parents/guardians involved, as well. Send a copy home for them to read at night to reinforce whatever skill you are working on.

These are Social Stories for pre-k, kindergarten, special education, and diverse learners, including autism. They are written in first-person, clear, simple language to explain important topics relevant to everyday life at school.

Each topic has a 1-page format and a printable, easy assembly, 8 page book. Just print 2 double sided papers and fold in half to make an 8 page book.
