Description
This fun eggs song (rhyme, poem) for carpet time is one of my students’ favorites! It works great for a farm, Easter, or spring thematic unit. This is a great activity for teaching students to take away and to recognize quantities to 5 or 10. It also helps build finger strength and helps students recognize 2D shapes. A black and white version is included so that students can create their own 5 little eggs to sing about as a math center activity or a extension activity to take home!
To Prep:
Print, cut, and laminate chicks and instructions. I print all the chicks so that I can change out the shapes or use more than 5 for a challenge.
