Description

The Family Violence Role Play Scenarios is made up of 5 specific scenarios for students to act as police officers responding to a family violence call. The scenarios are specifically listed with details for the subjects to act out, with props recommended (can be used without), and "injuries" for police officers to locate. There are 24 different roles, which may be recycled if you have less than 24 students.

A rubric for each scenario is included, with officer safety paramount on what is looked for. I personally pass out the rubric for each student to grade each other and then provide immediate feedback on what the students acting as police did right and wrong after ending the scenario. I grade it as a participation grade though I give an alternative grading idea if you want to individually grade each participant.

The set is made up of 3 documents- teacher instructions, role play scenarios with details, and a rubric.

My students love role playing police so here is 5 easy scenarios that are planned with a rubric for you to use in your classroom. Easy and engaging!
