What is included in this 4th Grade Morning Work resource?
This no-prep, Virginia Standards of Learning-aligned morning work resource includes 180 pages of spiral review in BOTH digital and PDF formats. 20 pages of morning work are provided for each month (September to May). An answer key is included with each page. Math and ELA skills are featured every day.
What skills are covered?
Each page includes the following spiral review:
- 4-5 Math problems. Skills covered in these boxes include place value, rounding, greater than/less than, computation, money, decimals (comparing, adding, and subtracting), factors, geometry, fractions and mixed numbers (comparing, adding, and subtracting), patterns, measurement, probability, patterns, elapsed time, equality, area, and perimeter.
- A mathematical word problem (single and multi-step problems)
- A dictionary skills/parts of speech activity (incorporates science and social studies terms)
- 1-2 Writing and grammar activities. The first half of the year focuses on grammar and writing sentences. The second half of the year features a daily writing prompt so that students can practice the writing and grammar skills they learned during the first half of the year.
What standards are covered?
This 4th grade morning work is specifically aligned to the Virginia Standards of Learning (SOLs). A variety of math and ELA SOLs are covered on every page.
Is a digital version included?
This 4th grade morning work resource includes two versions. The first version is a PDF spiral review resource that can be completed in a classroom or for homework. The second version is a digital morning work resource that can be completed in Google Slides. You can also project the digital version to save paper.
