Description

Are you searching for a step-by-step PowerPoint that can be used to introduce various geometry concepts to your 4th grade students in a way that will grab their attention? You've come to the right place! This 85-slide geometry PowerPoint is aligned with the fourth-grade geometry standards. Each section includes multiple practice opportunities! An exit ticket for each of the seven sections listed below is also included. This will help you monitor your students' progress and determine which students might need additional support. This PowerPoint can be used for seven days if you plan to cover one section per day!

HERE'S THE SEQUENCE OF TOPICS COVERED IN THIS POWERPOINT:

Slides 2-9: Points, Lines, Rays, and Segments

***A PowerPoint companion handout is also included in this file. Students can follow along and record answers on this handout as you progress through the PowerPoint! The companion handout is available in both printable format and digital format.**

PLEASE NOTE:

Buyers will find two versions of the PowerPoint. The first PowerPoint features the exclusive definition for a trapezoid (a quadrilateral that has exactly one pair of parallel sides). The second PowerPoint features the inclusive definition for a trapezoid (a quadrilateral that has at least one pair of parallel sides).

PowerPoints filled with visuals are ideal for teaching new content to students because PowerPoints tend to be highly engaging and concepts can be easily broken down into understandable chunks of information. But let's face it... they are so time-consuming to create! Fortunately, now you have an option of using one that is already complete, kid-tested, and ready to go for you!
