Fill-in-the-Blank Game Cards: Choose this option to save time! Students fill in the details to create unique problems.

DIY Game Cards: This option allows for more creativity. Students are given directions and examples to use in creating their own problems.

EDITABLE Game Cards: Teachers can edit all game cards in Powerpoint or Google Slides. (not for students to edit digitally)

❤️ Students work in pairs or small groups to design and create their game. They will solve their own problem cards and create an answer key. Not only is creating the game a great review, but students can play each other's games for more practice!

MATH SKILLS: Addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, place value, graphs, geometry, perimeter, area, number lines, angles, and tables.

TIME: Creating the game takes a few hours. I spend about 2 weeks (working about 30 minutes a day) on this project (one week to create their games and one week to take turns playing the different games).

MATERIALS: Students will need a file folder or 12 x 18 piece of construction paper for their gameboard.
