What educators are saying

This baseline assessment was too advanced for the students I purchased it for, however, I am excited to use it with other students very soon.
I have been looking for a good math assessment for my students present levels. The work was perfect for my students with learning disabilities.

Description

A 54 question math baseline assessment broken down by standards. This can be used for baseline data collection, data to drive instruction and data for special education or other specific populations. The standards addressed are the 3rd and 4th grade math standards in all domains: operations and algebraic thinking, number and operations in base ten, number and operations- fractions, measurement and data and geometry. This baseline assessment identifies areas of weakness and possible instructional gaps.

Standards

to see state-specific standards (only available in the US).
Recognize area as an attribute of plane figures and understand concepts of area measurement.
Measure areas by counting unit squares (square cm, square m, square in, square ft, and improvised units).
Relate area to the operations of multiplication and addition.
Solve real world and mathematical problems involving perimeters of polygons, including finding the perimeter given the side lengths, finding an unknown side length, and exhibiting rectangles with the same perimeter and different areas or with the same area and different perimeters.
Apply the area and perimeter formulas for rectangles in real world and mathematical problems. For example, find the width of a rectangular room given the area of the flooring and the length, by viewing the area formula as a multiplication equation with an unknown factor.
