What educators are saying

This made taking a brain break quick and easy. I also used these for Question of the Day entry tasks. Students enjoy the questions and having an opportunity to talk about things not necessarily related to English or school in general.
I use these for brain breaks with my students. They get 5 minutes to talk with one another at a normal voice level and these questions are so much fun!

Description

You will receive both PDF and PPT versions with 48 icebreaker questions with an assortment of popular culture, would you rather, traditional, this or that, and other questions.

Recommended use:

  1. Place one card on each desk and play (inspired) musical chairs. Have the students walk around to music, and when you stop the music, they must find a seat! They will then talk with a partner about their card. To amp up the competition and excitement, the last person standing might have to share one fun fact about himself/herself. Don’t eliminate anyone! :)
  2. Set stations up with a few cards at each station. Have the students discuss the questions in a small-group setting.
  3. For distance learning and digital purposes, incorporate a question into your virtual meetings or use them in your daily slides to engage students.

These cards fit the Target Adhesive Labels perfectly, but they can also simply be placed or taped on the desk/around the room!
