Description

This collection of video clips is a fun way to introduce your students to partitioning and the concept of fractions naming parts of a whole.

20 multimedia video clips reveal several fraction models and ask students to identify the correct unit fraction. The models are revealed in a fun format with animated special effects and synchronized sound effects.

Use these clips as a whole group game or activity. Or use this resource for small group instruction.

This is a powerpoint file featuring one video clip per slide. Caveat: This resource was created on a PC, not a Mac. I have no way of testing its compatibility with Macs, but PPTXs with WMV-formatted videos probably will not work in the Mac world.

As with all the resources I have available, this file has been kid-tested and created by me, a veteran teacher dedicated to the philosophy of promoting math fluency and skill mastery through fun!

Thanks again!

Sincerely,

Madison
