I was looking for a fun unit/activity to use with my students, as my school recently acquired a couple of 3D printers. They really loved creating food trucks and were so engaged in the activity the whole time!
Description
This cohesive STEM unit utilizes digital tools such as Google Slides, Adobe Spark, and Tinkercad to provide students with an authentic project based learning experience.
Students will create a marketing plan for their food truck business to go along with their CAD design of their truck.
The unit includes the following:
SLIDE DECK (FOR YOU AND STUDENTS)
SCOPE AND SEQUENCE (DAILY & WEEKLY SCHEDULES INCLUDED)
PROFICIENCY SCALE OF 3D PRINTS
PICTURES OF STUDENT CREATED SAMPLE TRUCKS
Product will download as a PDF and access to links in Google Drive are embedded in your PDF.
**This unit requires students to have a basic understanding of Tinkercad, a web based 3D printing tool**
Recommended for use with grades 3 and up.
